    I always said overhead . An overhead ceiling would be slats or cloth like on a car or panels .

    Would that be the USCG Auxiliary courtesy inspection stickers type of inspection? That’s pretty simple and low key. A bona fide uscg inspection I imagine would be ten times more fraught with red tape...

    Consider making the whole cockpit a drop in stitch n glue. Minimal or zero framing, just epoxy filets with a bit of fg tape.

    I would think that any epoxy in the mold would stink of toxic epoxy juju.
    burning epoxy is just awful smelling, you have enough to worry about with the molten lead and its' slag stank.
