    I have 10 year old West that dries just fine. Try some heat, retry a batch with correct ratio's and compare.

    Another option because of the backflow issue is pumping on a timer. Pump manually every hour and time the duration the pump runs or mark how where the water level comes to in an hour.

    Looking better with some sticks in her! You could always raise the float up for a bit so she pumps more water when she comes on and doesn't come on so often. It sounds like progress though!

    It looks a little different now. I moved the wheel forward with a new Edson Pedestal and a main sheet traveler forward of it. Not quite as roomy any more.

    Absolutely use it and worth having. Beats a bucket and brush or a dirty bilge. The scrunchy hoses are better than the coil ones.

    The Concordia deck beams had something similar to this set up. They did them on every third one I believe. I could check and take pictures if interested. Brilliant workmanship so far.

    Convention also has main halyard going to the starboard side winch on the mast.

    The wire to rope is usually the main halyard unless both of them have wire. The other halyards would be jib and spinnaker and lastly as Rich said, topping lift for spinnaker pole.

    You could drain it into the head and pump it out into the holding tank or outboard. I had a boat set up this way.
