    Deks Olje is pretty good on spars, if the boat is to be kept in a shed. Small dings etc which spars always get don't become the big problems that they do on varnish.

    Might be chemicals in the vrnish getting to your brain. let us know how it goes on the oregon, and while you are at it, maybe do a test patch without the white sandpaper.

    That would be pretty nifty-maybe better with the skiff than the dinghy. I can see it being a bit of a problem when being towed behind the mother ship-like an inflatable but worse!
