A few self-adhesive felt pads on the bottom and it just follows the hose wherever...
We used a shopvac as the "downstairs" vacuum when I was a kid. I think the primary reason was its ability to swallow legos.

Babygirl had to go in for surgery at 2 weeks of age. The associated antibiotics wrecked the good stuff in her gut along the way.
Doctors had us feed her raw goats milk for 6 months to...
Well, ok, fine, if we're going to get nitpicky, yes the cabin should be narrower and probably lower by a few inches.
And in most locations you'll want a 130% or larger foresail.
And the mizzen...
Drums, schmums. That tall kid is killing the bass!
Woodsticks-boy is my favorite, though.
oh, right, there was another boat in Paul's post #10, but it's not showing up on my screen now. Oddity.
Nuts enough to bring along a bottle of Merry Monks, a 4-pack of dogfish Immortal, a weyerbacher Tiny, and something else the wifey picked out in the 11% range.
Plus a growler of Old Burnside...
...and people say Doug's crazy.
Jim, we need you.
Really? That's the best you can do? :D
You're referring to the white hull in Paul's original post?
