    I think so, John. It was running fine when I put it away. And turns OK by hand on the pulley. The electrical shop said they identified the problem and think they can repair it.

    Flew 5 hours in a Spitfire.

    I do it freehand, about 4 swipes every 3rd tank of gas. It isn't hard. Just copy the angle that is marked on the top of the tooth, plus the up-and-down angle as well.

    Well if you leave the tape on for 3 days, and then pull it straight up, it'll help strip the old paint off the hull.

    Nearly all modern paint dries too fast. You can't keep a wet edge going, and end up painting in separate "lands" which are visibly distinct.

    I used ash for the ribs and basswood for the stringers, because I had the wood on hand. Worked well. The hull before covering was 7 lbs.
