    I acquired a Martin 15SM guitar recently. It has a strong, pleasant smell. I assume this is whatever oil it's finished or, perhaps, polished, with? Would you happen to know Jay, what this might be?

    I should think so, if you have the relevant skills. I don't think casting in epoxy would be up to it. The new gears are stainless steel.

    Masina has Aries self-steering. I'm pretty sure this one is an older model. You'd have to be careful as parts are expensive and the alloy construction is vulnerable to corrosion.

    I do like those SOF boats but all our rocks are covered in oysters. I'm sure I'd rip the bottom out of it sooner or later. But it would be nice and easy to carry, that's for sure!

    They already have an AIS transponder so this is simpler. The AIS trackers work really well. I'll show you next week!
