    I 2nd converting to three phase power. Get a larger motor to make up for loss of power at slower speeds. Three phase motors are much cheaper and better with less moving parts than single phase.

    pyle Marine stereos.

    I don't know about the costs in Mass, but some places in the Portsmouth NH area are very reasonable. Winter storage can be dirt cheap in the mid-coast ME.

    I find three crewman needed to row any distance, two rowers and a helmsman... make sure your oars grips are big enough for two hands. when I need to more her a short distance I use a paddle.
