Twin Down, Twin Down: knee replacement

Some of you lucky folks know my twin - David L. - aka 'Thorne the Magnificent' .

He goes in to receive his bionic knee today. Here's wishing him a marvelously swift and full recovery!!!

No... but there's a 'Curley'... and a 'Moe' if that helps. <G>

Well, dang - seems to be going around. Best wishes for David's quick recovery. My co-worker is having the same thing done today.

Things should work out fine. I understand techniques have improved quite a bit in the last few years. A friend just had a second hip replacement on the same hip and he says the difference between the first surgery and the current on is amazing.

Hope he's doing well! Recovery is no fun, but well worth it.
As I have mentioned here before, I had both mine done on the same day 12 years ago. It was a real scream!!
Best decision I ever made. Twelve years later and the knees are doing well.
Looking forward to the upcoming ski season.
