About Howard Rice

Biography:

I have lived and worked in Micronesia for the past 19 years and now split my time between Pohnpei and the US. I am the Former N American One Design Class Director, race team manager for Mistral.

Blue water sailor with a passion for boats under 25ft, must be wood or predominately built of wood. Exploring the world in small wood boats. Live in Pohnei Micronesia and the woods of N Michigan.

I currently work as the Special Assistant to the Governor of Pohnpei, Micronesia. Founder and development specialist for the World Park sustainable development initiative.

In addition to my work in Micronesia I have founded and now operate the PocketYacht, a small boat services company.
