Born on the Humber river in Toronto. Started out in power but now prefer sail. Started rowing as a kid and worked as a lifeguard on the beach at Sunnyside. Waterskied in the Aquarama Show at the C.N.E. for three years. Hired to drive a boat in a 'Cop Show' chase scene in the 70's and have worked in film ever since. Maintain an avocation in the Marine Industry through a chandlery in Toronto and doing occasional rigging and boat work for friends. Helped in the family marina business in Collingwood Ontario. Started windsurfing when booms were teak. Past R.C. chairman for Canadian Windsurfing Championships. Now a confirmed non-racer and sit-down sailor. Student of sailing history and avid reader.
