Biography:
Trained as an artist (painter), got a job touring a theatre show, and another and another - after about 15 years of that I admitted I worked in theatre and wasn't an artist. Got a real job in a theatre. My dad gave me the love of building stuff, Theatre gave me the skills to make things out of pretty much any material, kids meant I couldn't tour the world with shows all the time but I had to find something to keep me sane - so I followed a long held ambition to strip build a kayak..... Then I built a paddle boat, and now I'm building a 15ft stripped motor boat.
