Is there an off the shelf 7" sander/polisher with a dust collecter shroud, thats capable of being hooked to a shop vac?

I know the Fien systems are the premier sanding systems, but I realy don't want to spend that kind of money.

Porter Cable makes a nice one with great dust collection. I like mine a lot.

My Bosch random orbital has a port that fits a standard shop-vac hose. It works well, although "dustless" is pushing it. LOL

Hey Mike, I've chimed in on this one before. I went with an outfit called Dustrap. They make Lexan shrouds to fit all kinds of sanders. Easy to put on my Makita polisher/sander and costs about $30. My hull sanding went from dust storm to dang near nothing. Hint: run hose from sander into a five gallon bucket with one of those seperator lids and then to the vac. The vac won't clog nearly as fast. Oh, put some water in the bucket. Worked for me. Dustrap - 800-263-7000.
