I have dreams like that. On my belly. Extreme speeds. No brakes but Flintstones.

I wake up in a sweat, and yes, he's crazy. :D

I wonder if one day there'll be a follow up video - Nuts goes Splatt!
I really hope not.

The videos of the skateboarders are cool, too. The guy who invented the jet powered wing-suit has upgraded to 4 jets and crossChannel flights - he's from that part of the world, too. FWIW road luge had a write-up in one of the car mags 10 or 15 years ago, guys in racing leathers hitting 90+ mph coming down the passes in California. One of them noted that the urethane skate wheels tended to melt off the rims on long straight runs...

Oh yeah, the rollersuit, the Swiss alpine footage. Old news. *yawn* :D (I know someone that longboards.)

Love the footage, brings back fond memories of one of my favorite drives, through the Swiss Alps in a Benz 190. I liked that it wasn't overpowered and that I had to use the gears to keep it in the power band, much like an early Miata. Much more fun that way.

I'll always think of it as the reply given to the German commander at Bastogne.

Surrounded, out numbered both in men and machines, during the battle of the bulge the American commander, General Anthony Clement McAuliffe, was given an ultimatum. Surrender, or else. His one word reply to the Germans was, "Nuts."

As an ex-101st Airborne member, that's what I thought too.

Thanks for your service, sir.

It's such a great reply. Succinct ambiguity. It had the Germans scratching their heads. Nuts? Vat does he mean? Does he mean we're nuts if we think he'll surrender? That he's nuts, so don't mess with him? We've got nuts, so try us? He he. It makes me chuckle.

Sorry for the thread drift, I can't watch youtube here.
