Got the plywood parts cut and framing lumber planed and ripped to size. About "size." Richard Woods original plans used metrics. His Quattro 16 is dimensioned in metrics. The Pixie 14 has metric and British-American dimensions. IGNORE ALL BRITISH-AMERICAN DIMENSIONS! Whoever did the math to offer both measurement systems must have been deep into a bottle of Captain Morgan's spiced rum, because they are way off target.

Example: The chine timber is stated as 1" x 1" square. Woods' original metric measure was 20mm x 20mm. Big difference. Of course an oversize chine timber would work - sort of, but when assembling the crossbeams if one used the B-A sizes the dang things wouldn't fit the beam box.

Solution: Obtain a metric rule and welcome to new milinium!
