Hi, I'm interested in building zip, anybody had experience with that design? Thanks.

I know many have been built, and Glen -L's site and Duckworks will have some good info I am sure.

Zip . . .

I’m pretty sure that’s the one that Roger Stouff (who used to post very regularly on this forum) built about 8 or 10 years ago. As I recall, he was very pleased with the performance of the boat. (And he did a first rate job of building.)

With luck, he will see your post and provide first-hand experience.

There are numerous Zips on the Glen-L website and builders on their forum to draw from, getting plenty of feedback.

Morning Wayne, good to see you pop in about the same time, or as regular or inrregular now as I do.;)

Thanks Guys,
Yes I have looked at the Glen L site and a couple of others. I have only built a s&g dingy before and was wondering how complicated building a framed boat is?

BHOFM- What sailboat is that? Is there a website where I can see more details about it?
