Just reading through some old family letters and certificates etc and I've come across a death notice newspaper article for one of my GGG etc Grandfathers died 1891.

' arrived here( NZ) 1859'.......'a native of Wales'

I bought Duffy very shortly after you first mentioned her here and before she really got famous.

Funny eh... 51 years old and I never knew that. We're a mixed up bunch though ,Irish from Belfast and Cork, English , Scots and nearly all here from 1840's through 60's. Now I find some Welsh as well.:rolleyes::)

I won't mention the Aussie, he married a good Kiwi lass and settled here so it hardly doesn't count..:p
although he was interesting.. mad keen horse man, he took horses to the boer war .They're all horse whisper types that side of the family.
