OK. I summit defeat. I'm too embarrassed to post any pic's until mines decked over in ply. Truly you are the master. WQOW. Great idea for bending the carlin. You laminated, using the sheer line-plank. Inventive perfection. Double WOW... Will you varnish bright or paint?

Re finish; haven't decided yet; beams and frame bright with painted hull and deck underside would look good but tedious work.

I deviated from drawings on the carlin location; at the aft beam. I narrowed the side decks to 9" from 10, just to make the cockpit 2" wider. But at the cabin front they're as per drawing.

That's a great look, with beams and carlin bright. I'm trying to stack-laminate pieces of oak together to make my deck beams. I like the look of raw oak. that's not making the deck too heavy is it? I don't think so. The bilge, any red lead in their under a high build primer? Thanks for the motivation.

Gert, I like your work shed, can you give us a brief description of it's construction? I have been thinking of a bow shed, but the high winds we get in southern Alberta have me second guessing. Yours looks plenty bright and OSB is quite cheap, (and re-usable). It also looks more secure, as I worry about theft even in my own back yard.

Good point to make the cabin slightly wider. One guy in Australia with the Wee Seal omitted the side decking completely, that was too extreme and it missed the mark completely. I think you could heighten the cabin ever so little as well. 2 inches extra head space would be nice. Mike P. (R.I.P.) extented the cabin forward quite a bit, and the Trinity has the right look. I know such talk is herisy. I'll shut up and make pentence latter.
