Maybe Cotuit? The photo is from 1968. The Alden was my godfather's and he'd take us kids out every once in a while for an overnight not too far away, giving our parents a break. One night we slept on the broad side decks and watched the Northern Lights. They were very faint but spooky to us youngsters.

Nice pic, nice memory. My dad took us cruising the Sound in a 26' converted lifeboat. We loved it. I never remembered how homely that boat was until I saw a picture of it as an adult. Still, I remember cooking on the beach, seeing moonlight on the water.......

I'd give anything to see moonlight on the water these days. More rain and fog in the long range forecast, perhaps so much as to cancel Fireworks on the Fourth.

We're actually expecting clear and dry for the fourth. I'm planning a weekend on the boat.

Fooling arround with paintshop. I think the colors are too bright, but at least, the weather seems nicer now!:D
