Classic Boat, Yacht & Car Festival in Long Beach, CA

August 1st 10am - 4pm

This is a great event held in Shoreline Village next to the Yardhouse.
The Yacht Club and the City of Long Beach do this up right and throw an excellent Happy Hour and Awards Dinner at the club for all entrants.

If you have a pre 1965 boat bring it down for the show and then come over and party with us on "Arrivederci".

Thanks for the announcement. I really enjoyed last years show. Promise me some sail and I'll make an effort to attend this year!:)

What the hey, I'll probably be there anyway but a couple of rag haulers sure would dress up the place.

Thanks Lew, but I already feel that I owe you guys a whole bunch of pics. So Cal just isn't as wood boat friendly as you are up in the PNW. Most of the woodies of my youth have moved out or gone down (or are soon to move out) and it seems that not many have come in to replace them. So Cal is the birthplace of production frp and the resident boat population reflects that. If not for the continued posts from you and the rest of the forumites I wouldn't even bother dragging a borrowed camera to the festival.
