Found this on craigs list attached to a Bukh 10 HP diesel

Is it marine?

I suspect that it is a Hurth, not Hurst, gearbox (as noted by Ron, above), and that the numbers refer to a gear ratio of 2.5-to-1.

Misspellings are rampant these days, it seems, and the apologists for this seem to fail to recognize the confusion it causes. But I'll try not to rant...
