I found myself almost hyjacking the boutbuilder thread, but here it is.
WB use to have an infrequent section called "Attention to Detail". I have to declare that I really do miss it. It was not a regular thing but it was inspiring. Nothing about the depth of the varnish, but the little signature things that the designer or the builder or the owner did to set that boat apart from all others. It could have been by contribution but I remember that Maynard Bray had something to do with it. I just think its overlooked and overdue.
