It has one feature that I wish Google Maps would learn. If you look at the center of your screen you will notice a small crosshair. If you place that on where you want to zoom in on then that point remains in the center of the screen. With Google you have to keep centering your map all the time.

really neat.

As I recall, AK is a little more than twice the size of TX.

Thanks, man.

For those of you who don't know Texas, it's about 950 miles (by car) from the top left corner (Texline) to the far right tip of the 'toe' (Brownsville), and about 850 miles from El Paso to Port Arthur.

Alaska is one huge chunk of real estate.
