This is a low-impact troll, if ever I read one.

Nah, no troll it is just the reaction from eating red meat for dinner.
So Edwin how was that nice well aged "blu"* Porterhouse?

<insert big grin here>

* Dunno if I got it right. What I am after is the word for 'blood rare' steak.

So, we had the dynamic Florida Duo stop by - passing from a family visit to a Concordia visit. Along the way to the latter, we stopped in at South Dartmouth...

Here's the original story:
http://media5.hypernet.com/cgi-bin/UBB/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=004462&p=

Here's what she looked like:

Sorry no "Here's how she looks now." picture, but suffice it to say, one would never know to look at her that one was looking at the same boat. A few dutchman in some planks, a new section of shear strake, and those are only noticable as she is still finished BRIGHT!!!.

They took ~1/4" of the thickness of the port side of her house (in situ no less) to get thru the char, and then veneered a new piece on. The owner and his two daughters were getting ready to take her out for the weekend.

An amazing chapter in an unfinished story...

Normally I get a bit cranky when people post pics that scroll off the screen. In this case, it is worth it.

Spectacular resto.

Don't you think that a megabyte is a bit much to be posting inline?

It's bad netquette.

You just wasted about 10 minutes of mine and other peoples' time with that image.

If you want to point people to a large image (e.g., more than 70-100kb), simply point a link.

It's rude. The 'net is all about accomodating the least common denominator.

Sorry if i've erred. Didn't realise that the image/file was that large. Is this better?
