So on my way home from the office I decided to stop by Tidbit and check on her. Older guy in the slip next to me was tying up his boat after an afternoon of fishing, asked me if I was going out. I said no, I was just checking on the boat. Then it occurred to me why not

LETS GO SAILING !!!!

Anchored off in the cove was a cool sloop she looked wooden.

As I got closer the mast and cabin and deck were wood but the hull looked glass the transom was wood though

Anyone have any idea what type of boat it is ?

So you keep a 'break-in-case-of-sailing' kit in the Volvo?

Good thinking!

Basically swapped into crocks, the cheap sunglasses, and a windbreaker eh?

Joe, Thanks for the pix of the new neighbor on a hook in the cove...Scuttlebut says he's up from St Thomas for the summer...

And BTW Lefty, I was so impressed with both your generosity and your craftsmanship of the rubrail splice that I plumb forgot to THANK you amidst all the Spring tasks getting Tidbit in the water...So THANK YOU, you're a prince among men...

Don't recall, to be honest. I think you'll have to find a local seamstress to whip up that flag, 'tho.
