Printing a single posting?

Is there a simple way to print out one or a few postings, without printing the whole thread?

I can't do this on my iMac by the typical highlighting method.

You can do screen shots ( command, shift, 4 ) and create a pdf from those multiple shot files ( with Adobe Acrobat). Or, you can copy and paste to TextEdit and save, or save as pdf to print out.

On pc I just use the PrtSc button, then paste it to paint,save,and print.

And if you're putting it in Paint (or whatever) you can crop it so that only those posts you want to keep remain there for printing.

I also have an iMac. I just copied a photo from JoeCOSH's thread on sailing, and printed it.

All I did was right click on the photo and chose "copy image" from the menu that opened up. I then opened "Pages" chose the blank sheet and right clicked on it when it opened then chose "Paste" from the menu and there was the photos ready for printing, and only the photo. None of the rest of the thread was there.

You can just "drag and drop" for photos.
