Does anyone have a favorite style of pull for onboard? I am thinking of a latching kind to keep the drawer closed while underway. Rick

i use a pull knob with a screw through the face, and a block that fits in a groove inside, gravity keeps internal block in groove, turn the knob, and it disengages the internal block unlocking the drawer, or door.

I am trying like mad to visualize that. Rick

I use ordinary drawer knobs. There is a notch on the slider next to the face. To open I pull up on the drawer and then slide out. It is quite effective except when I put the boat hard on the port side in a gale.

I like the elbow catch mounted on the inside of the door or drawer face, accessed by a finger hole from the outside. No knobs or latches to snag on or accidentally bump and open. The size and position of the finger hole relative to the location of the catch on the inside will need fine tuning.
