Rumors that entrants have been stopped and arrested, cars impounded for speeds up to 170 mph in New Mexico.

True/false (or who cares)?;)

Are you positive this has nothing to do with the Patriot Act?
Have you read between the lines?
Kept your sheeple tendencies in check?

I read something last week about a string of exotics nabbed for excessive speed somewhere west of Laramie...

I heard that there was one statie who was pulling them all over.... they were passing him go 170 and he caught them with his radio ...
That guy is just no fun and should not be included in any WBF activities !

One year I supplied the radio/monitoring equipment for some guys.....they had the cop car used in the Blues Brothers film, outfitted it with triple sized tank in the trunk, and lotsa options to stay on the road.....the guy was the brother of Dan what's his name (Akroyd) wife.....he lives in Alexandria Va. They placed in the top 4 as I understand it.....
I question the New Mexico bit unless there's been recent changes....there was no speed limit...it was driving too fast for conditions.....but they did get upset if you could outrun the police cruisers.....
