Hello all!

Last weekend we've bought a new project. In fact, it isn't really a project, only some painting to do this winter. It is a Waarschip 725, a real Dutch design from 1976. Although my Fulmar isn't finished yet, we decided that we want to go on holiday by boat next summer, and we just couln't let this one go.

Congratulations! She's pretty, but I don't know what to think about a boat that only needs paint. I mean like you may have to use it for its intended purpose and go sailing :D

Is that a Van de Stadt design?

She looks so nice. I have been a fan of WAARSCHIPs since before this one was born. What needs painting? Do not forget to finish the Fulmar!

She IS pretty indeed. It is a design from Kremer, but I agree that van de Stadt designs look very similar. I will have to paint the transom, toe rails and the twarths, all bright. Because the boat is from 1976, and the owners wife did not want to ga sailing with him, interior is still looking like it is 1976... That means that we have to do some refreshing in there.... ;) And of course, I do not forget to finish my Fulmar!
