Volvo was getting serviced this morning so I figured I would get to work on Tidbit.
The main issue was trying to abate the usual flood from launching and swelling up.
Getting ready,

thanks to Jamestown.

So this year I worked the bottom. I scraped all the dried and old compound out.

So here is my unconventional method. I took plumbers putty and mixed it with bottom paint. Estrer Make had made mention that plumber putty is basically dolphinite only cheaper

Ya know, Joe, that the bottom and topsides look a little rough. Have you considered maybe stripping the hull and fiberglassing it, or maybe cold moulding some veneers over it then a few layers of xynole fabric.....and it will look slick as snot all year.....

Joe,
The bottom paint and seam compound mixture is a time honored solution to Sjogin's various ills.
Hope to get a ride this Summer.

Talk about overdoing things! Just slap some bondo on and call it a day.

joe - try to fill that horizontal check in the deadwood a little better. i found
that the water traveled that check into bilge. when i filled the check i had much less water in the bilge. you made a nice fillet of goop between deadwood and garboard, but you should press that goop into the crack that goes under the fillet. looking good. hows that rub rail on the other side coming?

Hey Joe, you've got to work on that technique for mixing the seam compound...
I normally use a paint mixer btw, but sometimes....
