View Full Version : Hansa Jolle comments?
Just received plans of a lovely little sloop by Henry Rasmussen [Abeking and Rasmussen].
It would be great to hear comments from any who have sailed or owned one. 19+ feet overall, ~ 20" draft board up.
Searched Designs/Plans came up empty.

Looks a lot like Joel Whites Flatfish, would think they sail similarly.

If it is the boat I am thinking of, it was a junior racing class that was popular in Denmark. It is probably somewhat lighter in displacement that the Flatfish, which comes in at 3,100 lbs on a 16' waterline.

Well, I wish I could retract that last post as they are not that different in displacement.

Frank, since you wrote that post the edit button should show up when you open it. Change it as needed!

Look up the Brokers "Baum and Konig" in Hamburg, they always have one for sale and I think Peter Konig owns one.
Maybe you can ask here http://hansajolle.de/
There was a German Author who wrote a book about cruising the ostsee in a Hansajolle. Can't remember his name right now but it was an interesting story.
