Congratulations Jeff. June 1 my sentence will be 6,935 days (19 years). Did I say sentence? I meant marriage. :D

By the way, even though you are on the way, remember the secret to longevity in marriage is "Yes dear, you are right." Oh and diamonds and flowers never hurt.

Actually, the real secret is to say what Chad suggests before you say the stupid thing thats on your mind that will land you on the couch. Say what Chad says, then shut your mouth. Ask me how I know that!!!

Cheers,

Bobby

A friend has a framed saying on his wall. I probably don't remember exactly, but it says something like, "A long marriage is between two forgivers."

9,764 for us. It'll be 10,000 days on December 2nd. http://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html

Congratulations! 10,359 so far for us, and it's still the best thing I ever did. I like that quote a lot.

my relationship with my girlfriend far exceeds what I had with my wife, more stable, better boundaries and safe.

Nothing like crazy to appreciate sanity.

10,739 and I couldn't be happier about my choice. Mother to my kids, comfort in the storm, soul mate and my very best friend. Thirty years in November. But to tell the truth, I never counted the days until now.
It doesn't really sound like all that many, even though it is half my life.

Haven't even cracked a thousand yet. Hell, haven't actually tied the knot yet.

Our relationship is kind of hinged on the idea we don't need to be joined at the hip 24/7. I keep telling her there's no one I'd rather be apart from than her.

Duration calculation results

From and including: Friday, August 3, 1973
To, but not including : Friday, April 10, 2009
It is 13,034 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date
Or 35 years, 8 months, 7 days excluding the end date
Alternative time units

13,034 days can be converted to one of these units:

1,126,137,600 seconds
18,768,960 minutes
312,816 hours
1862 weeks

Guess I'll have to keep her. I think I am too old to start over now.
