Hi iīm building the hull yet but i would like to ask something about the deck. i would like to build a bright deck, i was reading the chapelleīs book and there says that the deck to use is best decided by the plan view of the cabin trunk and cockpit. and the grey seal has it curved, and the deck should be curved... i wonder how i could make the deck with a layer of plywood and then make the deck with thin strakes about 1/4" or less, the problem will be bending the strakes in way of the widest part of the strake. the other option would be to deck it straight but i would like to hear what do you think about doing this in a boat like this (in atractive or design matter) the straight deck would be the easiest way to build i think.....
well thank you very much!!
bye !!

Emiliano.

Well... I kinda like the contrast between curved and straight elements on deck...

But then, I'm biased... ;)
