Well, at least 75 views so far. Hope someone gets this and it turns out to be real...

Careful now.... Believing an eBay tool seller's patois often ends in remorse.

1) That's clearly a crude replacement handle.

2) Drew mallets were clearly stamped in areas not prone to wear.

3) The Drew mallets worth owning had tool steel rings, not iron as the seller describes. Plus the rust on that one looks more like iron or mild steel than it does tempered tool steel.

4) These are real Drew mesquite mallets....compare and note the differences:
