Looking for a mast

The Carmans River Maritime Center (check our web site) on Long Island is searching for a new mast for the ELVIRA. The center has nearly completed the restoration of the 38' P boat built by Gill Smith in 1906! We are in need of a new mast, round and about 38' long, to get her sailing again. Any leads for finding an unused spar greatly appreciated.

There was a craigslist ad from a guy out east, Greenport maybe? Last year who had some old schooner masts, others too. I don't think I saved the number. Maybe you should put an ad on cl, see if you come up with anything.

It's on the opposite coast, but you might contact Kim. She seems to have a very good handle on used spars in the NW.
