Looking to make my own wood shell blocks. Anyone know some sources for the sheaves and other hardware. I have the wood shell material but need to locate any source for sheaves and the bronze formed u section that the sheaves are mounted in . Maybe you just need to make your own? Thanks in advance.

My friend Ed Louchard at Zyphr Works in Port Townsend can make you a very nice set of bronze and delrin sheaves at a reasonable price.

Using Everdure bronze, one can make up their own strope straps. Or Ed can do that too.

Thanks for the info Jay. Did he may the blocks for your boat?

He made several mast head sheaves for me. For the sheeting blocks, I made the rest.
