Blue Jay Plans - Just FYI

My brother wants to build a Blue Jay, so I told him I'd search the forum for a source. There were a few posts awhile back where people were having trouble getting plans from Sparkman and Stephens. If anybody is interested, plans are still available from S&S for $75. He ordered them today over the phone with no problems at all.

Excellent choice of a boat! I sailed two all over Northern CA, a '57 and '67 Blue Jay. Not racing, just fooling around and enjoying things -- even had a smelly Seagull for one of 'em.

Do you still have to pay the registration/whatever fee to S&S when you complete the boat?

My brother said that they didn't say anything about additional fees, although they did mention that they would provide him with a registration number when he bought the plans. Maybe they're including the fee in the cost of the plans now?
