fire extinguisher bracket

Has anyone made, or have on their boat, a wooden fire extinguisher bracket. There must be something more attractive than the cheesy metal or plastic brackets that come with the small portable fire extinguishers. A photo would be appreciated.

I don't have pix but I just use a half circle of wood top and bottom and a velcro and webbing strap around the middle.
