I especially get a kick out of #7. Screw my fellow man. I've got mine... as well as the guns and the will to defend it from all the losers.

Here's the twelve principles of animation.

2.1 Squash and stretch
2.2 Anticipation
2.3 Staging
2.4 Straight ahead action and pose to pose
2.5 Follow through and overlapping action
2.6 Slow in and slow out
2.7 Arcs
2.8 Secondary action
2.9 Timing
2.10 Exaggeration
2.11 Solid drawing

speaking of the funny things people say...here's the thin line between socialism and capitalism,,,4%

http://www.balloon-juice.com/?p=18106

The 2010 proposed rate of 39.60% = socialism.
The 2002-2008 rates of 35.00% = capitalist nirvana.
The 39.6% rate of the 1990’s = socialism.
Everything else = down the memory hole.

That Obama fellow sure is soaking the rich, isn’t he?

That graph looks like a fair representation of general prosperity over the same time period. The more the top marginal rate, the greater the general prosperity. I'm no 'economist', but it sure looks corollary.

My favorite post on that thread:

"Fundamentally, the rich will always complain about higher taxes, as will the banks complain about more regulations, for the same reason that teenagers complain about curfews and the rules you place on them.
The difference is that no one listens to whiny teenagers. We say, "this is for your own good" and "Iím in charge, thatís why".
We need to adopt the same attitude with banks, Republicans and rich people."
