Anyone built / building the "Perfect Skiff" ?

I'm looking at plans for building a sailing skiff for my family. I have a good amount of sailing experience in small boats and would really like to build a boat this year. I've looked at several plans and ordered the plans for Warren Jordan's Footloose, but after looking at it, I'm not sure it's the boat for me. I'm going to get the WB articles on the perfect skiff but wanted to talk to someone with real world experience in building it and their opinions on it.
