Heya,
On another forum there are some Colorado builders who are going in on a shipment of marine ply wood from World Panel. I dont know the shipping costs yet but it looks like we will order around the first of April.
Chip, got your message, I will bring yours up if you would like as I would really like to see your Bolger Gypsy, and meet you.
Have pick-up will travel if you need a drop off between Denver and Fort Collins. I will keep the rest of you in the loop if there is anyone else in the area that is interested.
Cheers,

Switters— Right— thanks. I'd better look at the website and decide what I need.

Can a Utahn get in on this, too? Maybe a Rocky Mountain EBS as well.
PM or email me please.

Better bump this up over all the Craig's List ad boats.

No problem, though I don't think you would save much driving over from Utah. If you come over this way much give us a shout to set up an EBS.

According to the Joubert Plywood ad in WoodenBoat, they have a dealer in Utah. It is MacBeath Hardwoods 1-800-225-3743. Perhaps with that 800 prefix they are actually located somewhere else, but it does say UT.

Thanks W,
Last time I checked, MacBeath could get okoume, but not meranti or sapele. I'll try them again.

Did MacBeath have a decent price on okoume?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but ... did this Colorado order ever go thru? And does anyone in the CO or southern WY region have a few leftover sheets of 3mm and 4mm marine ply left they'd like to sell? I'm building my girlfriend an Oxford Shell & need 2 sheets of the former and 1 of the latter.
Hi Chip! It's Bob McGovern in Laramie. Cold enough for ya?:)

There is finally a distributor for Hydrotek / Aquaetek Marine Meranti in Colorado. They might be able to bring in Joubert as well. Straight Lumber Co. 303-366-3561

Thanks for the info on Straight Lumber Co. I ended up ordering 12 sheets of Okoume from Toronto for my build.
