It's been a while since we had a karma game. Give me the reason why it should be you, and I'll send the following:
John Welsford - Small Craft Designs
Atkin & Co. - Atkin Designs
Boatbuilder Magazine - Ten Boats You can Build
Platt Monfort - Geodesic Airolite Boats
and a miscellaneous collection of Payson/Bolger study plans
My wife and I are building a much smaller place, and we are divesting ourselves of stuff. I got all these study plans when I was deciding what to build and no longer need them.
Let the game begin...

Because I just donated a substatial amount of wood to the wood shop class in the high school I teach at, including cocobolo, purpleheart, some lignum vitae, and teak. They can't afford anything fancy, so I made a donation to be used by the most interested student.

I am sanding thirty years of accumulated bottom paint off of a 'glass boat and could use some intellectual relief...

Stocks have tanked , home loan is under water . Thinking maybe building a small boat would be a shrewd investment .

Oooh!Oooh! Pickme!
Err, cause I'm spending the winter in the hills of western Virginia, a long, long ways from the water and just about as far to the nearest real lumber yard. It's pretty here, but nothing exciting has happened since they installed the battlefield down the street.
I'm saying that the internet is the only intellectual - and otherwise - stimulation that I'm getting, and I could really use a good uhm, read . . . .

Ok - here's my karma post from about a week ago.
Burnt out. For a Tuesday, I feel like I've already had a full week at work. If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all. I'm either being followed by a black cloud or Murphy himself (that B@$T@RD!) I'm working on a small product with huge challenges and nothing seems to be going well. The loaner car that i was driving while my car is in the shop crapped out. ( brakes _AND_ power steering) Then, I come home to a crappy piece of mail and a child who has misbehaved at school. Then my hands hurt from blisters I got over the weekend clearing ice from my next door neighbor's driveway. (OK, self inflicted, but for a good cause.)
Things finally seem to be going a bit better. (Joe CSOH - you got nothin' to complain about!)

No ill luck to report.
I have a Bolger Gypsy, with a rebuild in progress, and would love to have a plan besides the wee one in the Dynamite Payson book.
If you've got it, I'll be glad to make a prayer wheel and offer up assorted hums in your behalf.
