I'm building a stich and glue plywood dingy. I've used epoxy to tape the seams and saturate the plywood. What do I paint the epoxy with? The boat will spend the summer in salt water, mostly tied to a dingy dock or towed behind my sailboat. I will use a bottom paint below the waterline. Any suggestions? Would topside enamal work (i already have a can) or how about rustoleum gloss white. (I've used this on my wood spreaders and it works great, but the can says not recommended for constant imersion)

For above the waterline, your topside enamel or rustoleum would work fine. Make sure you prep the epoxy properly by scrubbing with cold water and a ScotchBrite pad to remove any amine blush.

Sure, I'll say it.
Kirby's paint. Topsides and insides.
