We graciously thank Tanja Askani for her sensitivity in taking these photos, for they are another example to the human race that we can have peace on earth, if we learn to stop our warring madness against our fellow humans, the other animals, and the environment in which we all live.

Maybe Chuck has a recipie for Venision Rabbit Stew :)

When we had bunny & dog they got together great. The bunny would plunk itself down next to the dog for warmth.

I do...

Our dog Ember and bunny Marlee are very fond of each other. If Ember walks by the rabbit's condo the bunny goes nuts.

Those are sweet. Humans like to think we made everything up, when we didn't. Basic kindness is animal, we merely the inheritors and questionable keepers.

I've been surprised at how personable and affectionate rabbits are.

I gave one to my son and they're inseparable...

Brought to mind dog Sheba when Minnie the cat showed up. Minnie wasn't weened yet, was wee little, still those blue blue eyes. Sheba, a sweet doggy, didn't know what to make of her. Do I eat her or play with her? Neither, gracious critter, for now you just watch. And she did.

I wish I had some photos. When Minnie grew up, she and Sheba were constant companions. Minnie, a little girl cat, would get under Sheba and bite her ankles. All in fun, mind you. Then, off to the races. Minnie always got the better of that match.
