small boat plan

Hi there,
I intend to build a boat ("caravan") seen on www.emubo.com (http://www.emubo.com) - Has anyone experience with that?
Do you think it*s really a good choice, I have never built a boat before?

I just clicked on your link and came up with a page that said EMUBO but nothing else...unless there was a picture there of an imaginary boat in which case it looked very nice. If this boat excites you to the point that you can't get your thoughts off it then marry it...oops! I mean build it!

As the designer of emubo -boats I want to post some comments:
- "building time" is a very vague term. In fact, it is the time used for the whole process of building a boat. That means search for plans, buying plans, study them, search for materials, building and launching. If all that is done, you will need to repair the boat in some years, too.
- If the boat should be suitable for amateur building, every part of that process should be for amateurs. And I believe, that's what I did with emubo.
- Boats designed this way, will be extraordinary cheap (in building and mantainance) - but this is just a side-effect.
