anyone need an engine?

I salvaged a 4 cylinder palmer gasser and gearbox with a few odds and ends , I don't think I will be using it in the folkboat. A bit big.
Does anyone have any folkboat sails they aint gonna need. in any condition?

Now if you had said a pair of rebuilt 283's or 350's I'd be your man. I would have gladly traded a few kids as crew memebers for a set.

Never heard of a 283 marine V8? The set I have are rated at 185 hp each. But ia think I am in for a rebuild. I've been told the 350 marine V8 is a drop in upgrade, ergo my interest.

There are a lot of 283 marine engines out there. My 1962 Chris Craft Sea Skiff has one. Apparently Chris Craft used to buy the engines from Chevy and marinize them. Great engines BTW

I am hoping I can get mine up and running again. I would rather rebuild than replace.
