Does it have something to do with the item not level on the jack stands?

Yup. Two steps forward, one step back... If this were an 8' 2x4, and the merchant 2 minutes away, LOL, no worries. However, I've got a limited number of friends that I can abuse by asking them to help me with this brute (or its replacement, which has been offered, if needed). So, I have to line up the players, the truck, etc, but have been holding off hoping to get some more eyes and hands on real expertise.

Also, eyes deceive, believe it or not that piece is not only close to level, it's low on the right side.

Ed,

Appears to me you're spoiling Finbar with a plush moaning chair and fancy brew. Might even be bad luck having a moaning chair that's too comfortable.

My moaning chair is an old wooden kitchen chair with the back broken off. I plant my backside on that baby, and I'm the picture of down-and-out. It also doubles as an auxiliary saw horse. ;

If the piece is nearly level, methinks the photographer helped Finbar create all those dead soldiers.

Well, as others have done before me, tho some, of course, would never admit it, I misspoke ;)

The picture exagerates the situation, it is low on the left (how'd I get so turned around - those dead soldiers, hmmmm, where's The Dingo when you need him, LOL. Ohh, there'll always be an England, is this a dagger I see before mine eyes, oh! I mistook thee for thy better, tis a nobler thing I do... perserve the old traditions...

Hmm. Since the Dingo is upside down, he'd see it as low on the right anyway, so we'd be right back where we started.
