Today's Jan 20. This day is important because:

-Obama takes office at noon today.
-My brother in law, Col Jeff Satterfield, USMC, flies out at noon for his (hopefully last) combat tour in Iraq.

Let's hope Barack's decisions benefit the well-being of Jeff and other US military and naval personnel and their families.

Join in me hoping they both weather the storm unscathed....

What Chris said. May there be the discontinuation of the despicable practice of supporting our troops in word only. A friend died late last year, his life could have been prolonged in the VA support program he was in hadn't been cut back.
