I'm relatively close (2 1/2 hours) to Mystic CT. Am I missing something I shouldn't be? smile.gif

Just got home about 45 minutes ago. I would have posted sooner but the bridge washed out again and I have been dealing with that. :(
I'm going to post these photos and let others make up the caption. I'm way to frazzled and tired to fill in the blanks.
Needless to say a great time was had by all.

Beautiful spring weather and I can't get from easy chair to "reading room" without huffing and puffing. Med seems to be working. Oh well. This too shall pass.

We'll let Ed answer that one smile.gif
I'll get the camera unpacked and upload my pictures - only 2 or 3.
BTW - I made it home - cell phone with the other pictures is somewhere in TF Green airport :(
It was an absolutely amazing time with Ed and Ken, who I've had the pleasure of meeting before, and Joe, Lisa and Ross, who I hadn't.
To quote another southern bell..."As God is my witness," - paraphrasing now ... if there's anyone on this earth funnier than Joe (****), I'd be amazed!
I laughed, and I laughed, and I'm still laughing. What a great time with a great bunch of folks (in person and via phone)!
And what a great tradition of "Let's-Call-All-the WBForumites-on-Ed Harrow's-PDA-and-Pass-the-Phone-Around-the-Table" has been started :D :D :D
Last but not least, some poor slob, who has Gary Bergman's old number, is probably still sitting there wondering, "Who is the Hell are Ed Harrow, Margo Geer Concordia 41, Joe Cold Spring On Hudson, Ken Hutchins TALLY HO, Ross and Lisa S?????"
P.S. Not only does Cleek live - BUT WE CALLED HIM!!!! Nothing like a few drinks in a person to make them think - ah what the heck, let's call Cleek

Sorry I missed the call. Jenny and I were out to dinner ourselves. Braving the same storm it seems. The area is so low, that the Bay itself was flooding the parking lot of the restaurant between 4 and 12 inches (!). Jenny was worried if her car would even start (when we parked it was in 1 inch of water, but we'd driven through 8 or so)... by the time we got out of dinner, the exhaust was just starting to touch the water... yikes.
As far as the steakhouse: I can bet our prime rib was better'n yer steaks ;) .
Hopefully I'll be meeting many of you this summer; thanks for remembering me.
I sure got a nice suprise when I checked the messages on my work phone this morning (the 4th). Thank you one and all for the greetings from Mystic. Sure wish I could've been there. It would have been great to share some conversation and beer with you folks. And of course it is always fun to be able to attach a face to a name. Thanks alot, I really enjoyed it.
