Hi all,
I've uploaded new pics of the construction of my SWAGGIE in the web
page http://www.swaggie-uruguay.com.uy/construccion.html
You can see the pics in the Spanish version, not in the English one, as
a problem arose with the English page and expect to solve it shortly.
Regards,
Luis

A good website to visit.
The boat is looking good! smile.gif
Great website, Luis. My spanish is just good enough that I only had to look a few words up in the dictionary. :D Looking forward to seeing the sides go on the bulkheads.

Hey, felicitaciones Luis.

Luis,
Fine work. Congratulations!
What type of marine plywood are you using? It looks quite nice. Is it made in South America?

Hi all,
Wayne I don't know exactly the origin of the ply we are using; I'll let you know when obtained such information.
The construction of my Swaggie is going forward.
Hereby I attach some pics. I'll upload more pics in my site during next week.
....
Sorry I can't attach pics here and don't know if that is possible aside from addressing to a web site pic. Can I?
Regards,
Luis

Hi,
Some new pics are in the page; boat almost finished!
You can see two videos about my Swaggie "ATITI":
One includes sequences of pics form the very beginning up to now; and the other is a short video showing the big interior of Swaggie.
More pics in my site www.swaggie-uruguay.com.uy
Hope you enjoy them.

And if you like sailing fast, here you have a video of my Tiki 26 "Polynesia" and others sailing at 10 knots and a cat meeting held in Uruguay last week.

Very interesting. What is inside the hollow keel? Is it water ballast (or fresh drinking water)? Is there external ballast?
Thanks for sharing,
Brian
Beautiful work, Luis. I check in on your website regularly hoping to see new photographs. Thanks.

Tks,
Brian, ballast is lead; but not all along the keel, only part; last part is empty or with wood content. 400 kg.
Hre goes a pic... not very clear but something at least.

Luis, the sailing videos are great! The meet on the Rio Platos looks like a most pleasant time. . .Did you ever decide upon a style of wind vane for your tiki?
