I would imagine that that Knarr is about like the Dragon in BC, but man, Knarrs are cool boats. With the fleet they've got out there I am really kind of surprised this boat had to be listed to be sold.

Yea, Knarrs are regularly restored. There are a couple of guys around who do nothing but. I'd expect somebody'd have snagged it long ago if it were worth the trouble. If it's the Knarr I'm thinking of, she's a stripped hull that's been sitting in the mud alongside the berm for years and is likely beyond practical salvation. I got a kick out of the tag line, "Comes with sails." Those Knarr racers are maniacs. They change their sails about as often as I change my underwear. There are barely used Knarr sails all over the place. I have a brand new set that I got from a guy as he was throwing them into the dumpster. I asked him what was wrong with them and he said he didn't like the way they set. They looked fine to me, although I didn't bend them onto a Knarr. Racers are the craziest people!
